AG Foods Program
The AG FOODS banner program today spans 3 Canadian provinces and
over 50 cities, towns and communities in British Columbia, Alberta
& Saskatchewan.
To qualify, stores must have a minimum 5,000 square feet of selling
area along with fresh meat and produce departments. Bakery and Deli
departments are recommended.
Stores must be scanning with "AG LINK" communication.
An AG FOODS trademark license agreement must be signed and the
Retailer must be a "Member Account".
AG FOODS retailers are represented by the AG FOODS Advisory
Council made up of seven Retail Members plus Associated Grocers'
Senior Management. We meet 12 times a year via Teleconference and
twice per year at our annual AG FOODS retail meetings. The seven
Retail members on the Advisory are made up of two Retailers from
British Columbia, two from Northern Alberta, two from Southern Alberta
and one from Saskatchewan.

Along with the AG FOODS Retail Advisory Council, Associated Grocers
works with an AG FOODS Advertising Committee. This committee
meets weekly via teleconference on ad planning and the overall marketing
plan. The AG FOODS Advertising Committee is made up of five AG FOODS
retailers along with the Associated Grocers Retail Marketing & Advertising
Team.
